Hello everyone....
So there's an issue which seems to be particularly pressing lately so I felt the need to re-state this to everyone.
You are not permitted to submit any form of art that IS NOT YOURS.
That includes edits, 'renders', traces, or re-posted art.
If you didn't draw something, you should not be submitting it - hell, you shouldn't even be posting it on dA.
Think about it this way; imagine an artist on pixiv.com drew a picture of Garry to show their appreciation for the Ib game. Somebody else saw that image and liked it, saved it to their computer, and edited it; they put an effect or texture on it, or they traced over it to create their own picture. Now, that's fine (provided that you don't claim the art as your own). They did it for fun and they did it privately, so it's all okay.
Posting it on the internet is a different matter, because by doing that you're exposing an artist's work to a new audience without their consent. They don't know that you've done that. What if the artist who drew the original picture had a dA account, and was planning on posting their picture here too? They submit it to this group, and what do they see? Their own picture, in the Featured gallery, with 1000+ favorites, compliments, downloads; all going to someone else.
That's art theft; you're stealing some-one else's recognition and you should not do it. Even if you say in the description 'this doesn't belong to me' or 'belongs to (username)' you still just should not do it. Post things that you drew yourself and be proud of them. There's literally no reason for submitting someone else's work.
I'm sorry if I sound harsh about this!! But as a victim of art theft myself, it's not a fun experience and even if you're not doing it with bad intentions, it's still a bad thing to do.
Not to mention that we explicitly state this in our group's rules, and yet for some reason we still get tons of submissions every day that don't belong to the submitter. It gets very hard to keep track of whether or not a person's art belongs to them.
So please, if everyone could help me here and try to stop art theft...!! If you see a submission in a gallery that blatantly was not drawn by the OP, please do your best to get it removed from the group, whether it's reporting the deviation to the admins or flagging the deviation etc. Please, let's stop art theft in this group together!
(B-by the way, if you're someone who has done something I mentioned above before...I'm not mad!! Just please don't do it again.)

Headcanons??
Hey hey, little rose buds! First off, best to introduce myself; I'm one of the new admins Mekakushi-swag-squad, but please call me Scottie or Emi. I'm very happy and honored to be able to admin for the grouip along with my fellow admins :3
Anyways, to sorta get to know you all and pull the group together a bit more, I wanted to ask you about any headcanon's you have for Ib. They can be serious or silly, anything you want! So, comment anything you think would happen, even if not specified in the game.
Can't wait to hear them!

Admin(s) wanted!
EDIT: I've got 5 new admins now, which I think should be sufficient for the time being because there isn't too much work to be done in this group. So because of that, unless someone changes their mind, I doubt we'll be needing any more admins. Your new ones are now (or soon will be) listed on the front page in the co-founders box. Please contact them instead of me from now on! To my new admins, I'd like to say thanks first of all for taking on the job, & secondly that I hope you will all do a good job of keeping the group active, welcoming & artist friendly! I would ask that everyone keeps enforcing the same rules, especially the ones regardi
Trading Mascot Figures!!
Hi everyone!! *(*´∀`*)☆
It has been a really long time since I saw any Ib news, so this journal has been fairly blank for a while...
But today I have something exciting to mention (ノ◕ヮ◕) ノ*:・゚✧ *:・゚
Trading figures!!
A new set was released containing figures of Ib, Garry and Mary, as well as five of the art pieces by Guertena: ??? of Spirit (the rose), Lady in Red, the mannequins from Death of the Individual, ??? of the Deep, and one of Mary's blue dolls.
You can buy/preorder them on animate's store here--> http://en.animate-onlineshop.jp/index.php
Happy New Year from Ib-Fanclub!
A little late perhaps....but happy new year everyone!! (There's been a lot of new members recently, I wonder if it's got something to do with new year? ヽ(๏∀๏ )ノ)
I hope everyone keeps up all the great art, fanfiction and cosplay throughout 2014 as well!!
It's actually been something like a year and a half that this group has been running now...It's strange, it doesn't feel like it's been so long...
Regardless, thank you to everyone for making the past year a great one for this group!!
Also a huge thank you to ToxiicLolita (https://www.deviantart.com/toxiiclolita) who has been helping me with running the group for probably about a year or so by

Being honest I may have done it in the past (generally just for the pose)... >Crying in the corner<
Although I did clean anything out that may have been, Erm!, "used"
all in all, its clean.
